Je vais essayer de répondre le plus possible :
Le son intégré est meilleur que celui de mon asus eee 1101HA mais reste relativement pourri comme sur tous les laptops. A savoir la connectique est un mini jack combo in/out (comme sur un  iphone par ex).
L&#039;ecran n&#039;est pas mat sur le 5310m, mais il est pas mal, pas trop de reflets, super luminosité/contraste/couleur (au moins à mon gout)
Clavier : top ! les touches espacées c&#039;est un +.
Le taux élevé de rtour materiel HP, c&#039;est vrai, je l&#039;ai même fait progresser il y a deux mois avec un 4310 (chipset graphique naze).
Je ne peux malheureusement pas te répondre sur le dernier point n&#039;ayant pas de moniteur.

En espèrant que ces réponses apportent de l&#039;eau au moulin de ta reflexion, à bientot :)</description>

J&#039;ai beaucoup cherché ces derniers temps quel modèle de portable acheter et celui-ci me semblait vraiment pas mal. Cependant j&#039;ai lu tout et son contraire sur lui :
- son intégré complètement pourri
- Autonomie largement en dessous de ce qui est annoncé
- Clavier génial
- Ecran mat (un des rares à encore proposer cette caractéristique)
- HP aurait le taux de retour de matériel le plus élevé...
Maintenant que tu en as un, quel est ton avis sur ces différents points ? Dernière chose : Le DisplayPort... As-tu acheté un adaptateur vers DVI ou HDMI ? Quelle résolution arrive-t-on à afficher sur ce port ?

		<description>It&#039;s better to install linux-backports-modules-jaunty instead of linux-backports-modules-`uname -r`, as this will work across kernel upgrades. (It depends on linux-backports-modules-jaunty-generic, which in turn depends on linux-backports-modules-`uname -r`.)

I believe this is not required for karmic, since karmic already contains the drivers that are in the jaunty backports package.

I&#039;m surprised you needed to install the wired driver. I have a 1005 and my colleague has an 1101, both using the same wired and wireless chipsets, and we are successfully using the standard atl1c driver that comes with the kernel.
