I discovered yesterday, after reading this article, a bios option to overclock my eee pc processor.
This is amazingly easy to do.
Just hit F2 at boot to enter in the bios setup, then go to the advanced tab (using left and right arrows).

Here you can choose a value in these : 5%, 10% (which was default on mine), 15%, 20%, 25% and 30%.
Hit F10 to save and exit, boot your system and enjoy
Side effects of this will be a shorter battery autonomy and a cpu temperature rise.
According to the article linked above, the CPU temperature can go up to 75°C but the heat is dissipated correctly as the HDD stable temperature shows.
I haven’t tested the battery life yet.
At the moment, I’ve choosen 25% value in the bios and all run smoother than before, and the temperature is rarely above 55°C
